Hello, Stiegel Families!

I hope you’re enjoying your spring thus far.  It was wonderful seeing so many of you at Parents to Lunch!

May is a busy time at Stiegel with events, field trips, and end of the year activities.  It’s also a time we need to remember about safe shoes to wear to school. As in the past, if your child wears flip-flops to school, he/she will not be allowed to climb on the playground equipment.  Safe footwear for running, climbing, and playing is always preferred.  Also, please be aware of spaghetti straps and short length.  As it gets warmer we want students to be cool, but be appropriate dressed.  Thank you for your help with this.

Additionally, please try to minimize calling into school with transportation changes after 1:00 each afternoon.  If you are planning to change how your child is going home or elsewhere after school, please do your best to call before 1:00 p.m.  It is often difficult to get the message to them in time. We want to ensure all students are safe and are going where they are supposed to go.

Have a safe and happy May!

Dr. Wendy Hancock
