Greetings!

We have had a great start to the 2014-15 school year.  Our year started off well, and we had an excellent turnout at our Back to School Night.  We all appreciate your support, as we work together to provide the best education possible for your child.  I encourage you to continue working with your child and communicating with their teacher to support his/her learning.  There will be another opportunity to visit us at Stiegel in November during conferences on November 11th and 13th.  Details on conferences will be coming home soon.

Please make sure you go online to InfoSnap to provide us with contact information for your child.  If there are address or phone number changes during the year, please notify us as soon as possible so we can update their information.  Our ability to contact you rests on you supplying us with updated information.

We kicked off our anti-bullying program at Stiegel at an assembly on September 26th.  Our guest, David Jack, provided us with a program and a theme to "Stand Up, Step In" to ensure our students have a

safe environment at Stiegel.  Bullying in the school setting is defined as ongoing, unwanted and aggressive behavior among children which occurs over a period of time.  We want to work together to create a bully-free environment at Stiegel where everyone is warmly welcomed and accepted.  We will work as a team to make sure a conflict involving students does not become bullying.  Open communication between school and home is an important part of the process of conflict resolution.

Have a festive October, enjoy the fall season and please join us at the Farm Show!
