H.C. Burgard Elementary School is a school where we strive to do what is best for children.
Our child-centered approach helps us to create an environment where everyone is valuable, special, and important. Your child’s education and safety is our number one priority. We have established various programs that are differentiated to meet the needs of all students in Reading and in Mathematics. We are also concentrating on social growth through our RtII behavioral component and weekly class meetings. With your help as well, we hope to foster respect and well-being in all of our H.C. B students. The goal of this learning journey is to help all children be successful and self-motivated learners.
We do encourage parents to volunteer. Parental involvement is the core of our school success. We welcome your participation in the many wonderful activities that occur during the course of the school year. We value your ideas and recommendations, because your involvement positively impacts the learning of all children at H.C. Burgard Elementary.
