Purchasing / Procurements
The District uses a number of methods for the procurement of products and services in support of the instructional programs in the schools.
Occasionally, the District will seek bids and proposals through a formal Request-For-Proposal (RFP) process. These requests will be posted on this web site and, when required, advertised in the Lancaster newspapers.

The District procures most of the supplies and equipment through the Joint Purchasing Board run by the collective of districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties through the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit #13. All the commodity areas are bid through an on-line system powered by eschoolmall.com.
Additionally, many commodity areas have "catalog" bid-pricing that allow for individual purchases to be made at a pre-negotiated discount. For additional information for School District staff, please follow the link Joint Purchasing Catalogs.
