Manheim Central School District provides additional services to those students whose primary language has not been English. The English As A Second Language (ESL) Program is designed to provide instruction in all curriculum areas to students whose dominant language is not English. ESL teachers work with identified students and emphasize the acquisition of English in the five (5) language skill areas of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing and Comprehension.
